Players

GS  Goal Shooter The player who makes the shots on goal. Only allowed in the attacking end third. Must shoot from within the circle.

GA   Goal Attack Secondary goal shooter who assists in centre court. Allowed in attacking third and middle third. Must shoot from within circle.

WA  Wing Attack Passes the ball from centre court across to the shooters. Allowed in centre third and attacking third butnot in the circle. Important role in passing ball into shooters.

C     Center General workhorse who co-ordinates both side of the team. Must be able to attack and defend and change between the two very quickly. Allowed all over court but not in circles.

WD  Wing Defence Defends the top of goal area, defends against opposing WA and tried to prevent ball getting into the attacking circle.

GD  Goal Defence Defends the back third, and blocks attacks. Must defend against GA and rebound in circle.

GK  Goal Keeper Counters goal shooters and stops shots, gets rebounds. Will be responsible for any throw ins in the defending third.
