Set shot Practice

7 cones are placed around the key area at the basket 3 down each side and one at the free throw line. One partner starts at one of the cones nearest the basket and shoots for the basket using the set shot. When the player makes a shot they move to the next cone, if they miss they can stick or gamble - if they stick they remian where they are and it is their partners turn. If they gamble they take another shot, if they score they move to the next cone but if they miss they return to the cone they were at, at the start of their turn. The game is played until shots have been made at all cones, the first person to complete all shots wins.

Knock Out

Players stand in a line facing the basket, at the free throw line. First person shoots, if they score they join the back of the line. If a player misses the second person in the line starts to shoot. The first person must continue to shoot. If the second person scores before the first then the first person is out.

To remain in the game you must score a basket before the person behind you. Only two players shooting at a time.

First 3 player in the line need a basketball. Basketball are given to the next person in line after a basket has been scored or a person has been put out of the game.

Once a player is out they can dribble their ball in the other half of the ball or watch the rest of the game from the side.
