Circuit Training

·         This is where a whole class can participate in a variety of different exercises all at once. There are different ways of planning a Circuit Training Session

·         Pupils move from one activity station to another, experiencing different activities

·         Pupils can develop and improve their Strength, Flexibility and Cardio-vascular endurance (heart & lung fitness)

·         Pupils can have control over the pace at which they work, and can easily monitor their effort levels, reducing or increasing them according to how they feel

·         The Work/rest intervals (explained in the exemplar material) can allow pupils to sustain physical activity for an extended period.
